Terry - Our Founder

Terry’s career in the automotive industry began in the 1970s, where he quickly made a name for himself in car sales and leasing. His dedication to customer service and integrity earned him national recognition — in 1975, he was named Volvo’s Canadian Salesman of the Year.

In the 1990s, Terry brought that same commitment to Vancouver Island, opening a Rent-A-Wreck location with a simple philosophy: offer clean, dependable vehicles at honest prices — no gimmicks, no pressure.

Building on that foundation, Terry transitioned the business into GSA Auto Rentals in 2001. What began as a small, local rental service has grown through word of mouth and repeat customers who value personal service and practical solutions.

From GSA to Victoria Auto Rentals

In 2025, we rebranded from GSA Auto Rentals to Victoria Auto Rentals — a name that better reflects who we are and the community we serve.

We're still the same family-run business with the same values, now with a new look and an easier way to rent.

Terry’s original vision still drives everything we do.
